While initial budget proposals rejected the Trump administration's harmful funding cuts to many programs, the House is trying to include dangerous policy riders. Some House budget provisions would mandate new offshore oil drilling and revoke the ability of states to review and have influence over federal projects that are planned on their coastlines.
